Feeling a little Zen

Zenfolio, to be exact.

I was given the preposition "athwart" to use as a basis for a photo today. No other guidance, just the word. So what you get is a photo that illustrates "athwart", while being personally symbolic to me on a few levels.

I give you: a locked gate athwart a paved path to a future county park. Funny, they haven't done any real work in this location in ages.

I'm just trying to get the knack of how blogspot treats these posts-by-email.

Taken today as part of a head-to-head photo contest. This is currently being beaten 8-5 by yellow monkeybars against a blue sky. Nuts!

Post One

Since my other blog was on blogger, and I couldn't seem to figure out what the heck I was doing with the templates, I thought I'd start over. I only had 9 posts in 2+ years over there anyway.

I'll be putting some photos here whenever I take some that I deem worth viewing.

And yes, I'm partially colorblind, which makes post-processing photos SO much more challenging!
